The former Blossom, Big Bang Theory and Current Call Me Kat star presented a lecture titled, “The Big Bang Theory: Making Science Cool (& Funny)."
The lecture was part of Penn State Harrisburg’s Women in STEAM Symposium, which held multiple events in March to promote working in STEAM fields to women and students of color.
STEAM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Bialik is a mom of two. She spoke candidly with students about the importance of finding a work-life balance, handling mental health issues, as well as advocating for women in STEAM.
"That they see, you know that a woman can do it and especially someone who didn't excel naturally...so I think that's a good message to spread too,” said Bialik.
During the talk she revealed she will be guesting hosting Jeopardy on May 31.
